Egzona Ujkani
I am Egzona Ujkani and I have completed my studies at the Faculty of Medicine, in the Physiotherapy program. From the beginning of my studies, I have been motivated by the desire to work with people, to help them recover their health, mobility and quality of life. During my academic years, I not only gained extensive theoretical knowledge on anatomy, biomechanics and physical therapies, but I also had the opportunity to develop practical skills through continuous clinical practice. During my internship, I worked with patients with various needs — from sports injuries, neurological problems, muscle injuries, to patients seeking rehabilitation after surgeries. These experiences taught me to be patient, caring, to listen to the individual needs of each patient and to understand how much impact a professional and human approach can have on the success of treatment. Physiotherapy, for me, has always been more than a profession; it is a way of caring for others, an opportunity to change people’s lives in a positive way.
After graduating, I joined a private clinic, where I continue to work today. This step was one of the most important in my career, because it gave me the opportunity to put into practice everything I had learned during my years of study. Today, I am involved every day in treating patients with various physical injuries, using modern physiotherapy methods and an individual approach to each of them. Every working day gives me the opportunity to grow professionally, learn more, and continue to contribute to improving the health and well-being of my community. What motivates me most in my work is the moment when I see a patient’s progress when someone starts to walk better, feel less pain, or return to daily activities. That feeling of appreciation and joy that I see in patients gives me strength and energy to continue.
