"Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova has held a workshop for the preparation of the Strategic and Action Plan for Gender Equality (2025-2028), supported by the HEI'25 project. The meeting was attended by: Rector of UFAGJ, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, members of the working group: Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi – Chair, Nita Sina Pruthi – member, Bujar Nura – member and Arizona Syla – student. Officials from the UFAGJ finance office and representatives from the HEI'25 project were also present at the workshop.

The Rector, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, congratulated the participants and expressed gratitude for their commitment in preparing this document. On the other hand, the head of the group for drafting the PVBGJ, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi, noted that important work has been accomplished and the commitment will continue, in order to create a sustainable and practical plan. Edita Buçinca, manager of the HEI'25 project, underlined the support that this project provides to higher education institutions in Kosovo, especially the support provided to UFAGJ, in order to ensure sustainability. Meanwhile, the workshop was led by expert Prof. Albana Rexha, where discussions were held about the PVBGJ profile, the approval of objectives, activities and the finalization of the action plan, which will then be put out for public discussion.

This activity is a continuation of the initiatives that UFAGJ aims to fulfill according to the annual work plan, by finalizing a document that aims to promote and strengthen the values ​​of gender equality, in accordance with the University Statute, the legal framework of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as European standards.
