The purpose of this meeting was to provide more information on the assistants’ professional development process, as well as to discuss their progress in doctoral studies.

Rector Bunjaku informed the assistants that UFAGj is drafting the University’s strategy for 2026-2030, where he emphasized that assistants are an asset to the University because they are the future of the academic staff. At the same time, the Rector asked all attendees to present their personal progress in postgraduate studies and to share ideas and suggestions on how the University can further support them, in order to facilitate their academic journey. The orientation of the development of new University programs depends on the time of completion of the Doctoral studies.

The meeting was welcomed by the assistants, who considered it a very positive initiative to provide institutional support and to closely address the challenges they face during their professional development. The assistants highlighted ideas and shared their experiences during their postgraduate studies.
