UFAGJ signed MoU with RUMELİSİAD association in Bursa, Turkey - A new step towards Internationalization and Social impact
In alignment with the strategic vision for the expansion of the international cooperation and strengthening of the social engagement, the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova has officially signed an Agreement of Understanding with RUMELISIAD (Rumelia Industrialists and Businessmen Association) in the city of Bursa, Turkey.
The Agreement was signed during an official visit payed by the delegation of the University, led by the Rector, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, accompanied by the Vice-rectors Nazli Tyfekçi and Dafina Kaçuri. The memorandum was signed by the Director of RUMELISIAD, Mr. Murat Evke, who also welcomed the delegation, and expressed strong support for the future cooperation between the two institutions.
This cooperation marks a significant step in regards to the fulfilment of the third mission of the University-the stimulation of active cooperation with the business sector, and contribution towards regional development and social transformation.
Through this agreement, both institutions aim to promote: expanded opportunities for professional practices and trainings for the students, academic exchanges and mutual initiatives, as well as cooperating in entrepreneurship and innovation fields.
The signing ceremony was also honoured with the participation of Mr. Fahrettin Gülener, Honorary Consul of Kosovo in Bursa, and Mr. Recep Gündüz, Chairman of the Kosovo-Albania-Macedonia Solidarity and Culture Association, emphasizing once again the importance of friendly relations and cooperation with civil society between the two countries.

Cooperation with a dynamic association as RUMELISIAD creates opportunities for the students and our staff to become part of a wider innovation and regional development. This partnership is expected to directly impacts the improvement of the quality of programs of study, and the preparation of the professional graduates who will be competing in the national and international market’’-said Rector Bunjaku during the visit.
This collaboration supports the university's long-term goal of integrating academic work with real impact on society, and opens a new chapter in strengthening entrepreneurship, empowering youth, and transferring knowledge between Kosovo and Turkey.
