The University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova (UFAGJ) and the University ‘’Isa Boletini’’ in Mitrovica (UIBM) have made official a memorandum of cooperation in the academic and scientific field. The agreement was signed by the UFAGJ Rector, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku and UIBM Rector, Prof. Dr. Nurten Deva, in the premises of the UFAGJ in Gjakova.

This agreement aims at strengthening the widening of the inter-institutional cooperation through staff and student exchange, development of the mutual research projects, conference and seminar organization, as well as the promotion of the mutual study and research programs.

Through this cooperation, both Universities cow to create conditions for sustainable academic exchanges, and to increase the quality in education and scientific research. Likewise, there will be undertaken mutual activities in the function of the interinstitutional capacity increase and internationalization of Higher Education in Kosovo.

The Rector of the UFAGJ, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, emphasized the importance of this agreement, esteeming it as a significant step towards the deepening of the cooperation between public institutions in the country, and the advancement of the academic capacities. On the other hand, the IUBM Rector, Prof. Dr. Nurten Deva appreciated the opportunities that are created for students and the staff through this agreement, expressing her readiness for full commitment in the realization of the mutual objectives.

The agreement will be in force for a three-year period, and is expected to serve as a concrete platform for fruitful cooperation in the future.
