
University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova signs the Memorandum of Understanding with Tafila Technical University from Jordan
University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova (UFAGJ) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tafilia Technical University (TTU) from Jordan, with the aim of creating a long-term cooperation framework in various academic and cultural fields. The signing ceremony was held in Gjakova, marking an important moment in the internationalization journey of this institution.
This memorandum defines a number of cooperation fields between the two universities, including student and staff exchange for study purposes, teaching and scientific research, the organization of joint conferences, seminars, and workshops, as well as the implementation of joint research projects in fields such as education, languages, social sciences and information technology.
The MoU also foresees the development of joint study programs at bachelor and master levels through drafting joint curricula of and the provision of coordinated teaching. Another important component is the promotion of Albanian and Arabic languages through joint courses and cultural exchanges, with the aim of deepening intercultural understanding.
For the implementation of the agreement, the parties will appoint institutional coordinators and will establish a joint working group that will supervise the implementation and evaluation of joint activities.
The Memorandum was signed by the Rector of the Tafila Technical University, Prof. Dr. Bassam Almahasneh and the Rector of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, who emphasized the importance of this partnership for inter-institutional strengthening in the field of education and scientific work. Rector Bunjaku emphasized that a partnership with a prestigious University such as the Tafila Technical University from Jordan opens the doors to new collaborations in all fields, but especially in the fields of Applied Sciences.
