University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova hosted the 2025 Job and Career Fair, an important event organized by the International Cooperation Office and the Career Office, in cooperation with the German GIZ. The fair, which was held at the university premises, brought together dozens of businesses of various profiles from the Municipality of Gjakova.

This unique platform offered students the golden opportunity to communicate directly with business representatives, getting to know their job offers and employment requirements. The interest of the students was great, proving the need for such meetings that connect the academic world with the working world.

The Rector of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bujnaku, in his speech emphasized the importance of close cooperation between the university and enterprises. He pointed out the extraordinary potential that university students have to successfully integrate into the labor market. Rector Bunjaku added that such a platform is essential to further strengthen the third component of the university's mission, that of contribution to society.

The Vice-Rector for International Relations and Projects, Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi, emphasized the vital role of institutional cooperation. She explained that this organization aims to establish lasting bridges between education and employment, serving as an important link between students and the labor market.

At the opening ceremony of the fair, the attendees were also addressed by the Chairman of the Board for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Executive Director at KRM Cabrati, Mr. Behar Ferizi. He emphasized that the cooperation of enterprises with the university is bringing visible developments in Gjakova. Mr. Ferizi also emphasized that this cooperation is constantly deepening, considering the university and enterprises as a single body with the main goal of influencing economic development and serving the community.

The 2025 Job and Career Fair was considered a great success, serving as a valuable platform for students and businesses in Gjakova, and strengthening the connections between the academic and working worlds.
