On April 15, 2025, the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova had the honour to welcome in an official visit the Commander of the RC-W, Francesko ERRICO, Major Alessandro Orlandi and Commander Assistant, Capiten-Ricardo Seminerio.

During the meeting with the representatives of the University, wherein participated the Rector, Prof.Ass.Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, Vice-rector for International Relations and Projects Prof. Ass.Dr. Nazli Tyfekqi, Vice-rector for Student Affairs Prof. Ass. Dr. Dafinë Kaçuri, the General Secretary of the UFAGJ Nita Pruthi, and Officer from the IRO Bujar Nura. In this meeting was discussed about the importance of peace, security and international cooperation, as well as for the role of the higher education in building a sustainable future for the youth of Kosovo.

The visit of KFORI Commander strengthens the relations between the security and academic institutions, opening opportunities for further cooperation with mutual interest of both parties. The University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova thanks the Commander and his team for the visit and the consistent support for setting peace and increasing development in our country. This visit represents a significant moment in strengthening the cooperation between the academic institutions and troops of international security that operate in Kosovo.

Topics discussed included security issues, international cooperation, and the role of higher education in building a stable and peaceful society. After the meeting, courtesy gifts were exchanged, accompanied by joint photos.
