Today, March 20, 2025, in the premises of the Faculty of Philology of the University “Fehmi Agani” organized by the American Corner – Prizren Association, a lecture was held on media education. The attending students had the opportunity to be informed by the lecturer, Fisnik Minci – journalist, about the ability to analyze and evaluate sources of information, how to distinguish fake news from fact-checking, and the difference between the roles of traditional  and digital media. Additionally, the influence of media on public opinion and the role of social networks in media manipulation and propaganda were discussed. The lecture aroused great interest from students who showed active participation in the discussion, highlighting their experiences and how much they consume traditional media compared to that of social networks, also showing their experiences of encountering different and unverified news on their accounts.
