Universiteti “Fehmi Agani” në Gjakovë pjesëmarrës në Konferencën Ndërkombëtare “NanoBalkan 2024” në Tiranë

The University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova participated in the prestigious NanoBalkan 2024 conference, which was held in Tirana from 28 October to 1 November. This international conference brought together researchers from some of the world’s most renowned universities in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology, while also including important initiatives related to research policies. In addition to the main sessions on innovative topics in nanoscience and nanotechnology, the program also included activities such as nanomedicine, a school on nanobiosensors, workshops on the environment and nanomedicine, the “Women in Nanotechnology” workshop, seminars for entrepreneurs, and other activities.

Our university was represented by assistant researcher Vllaznim Mula, who presented the work of his research group titled “Monitoring Volatile Organic Compounds in Indoor and Outdoor Air Using Passive Sampling in Milan, Italy.” In addition to his presentation at the conference, he also participated in the “NanoKos” workshop, funded by the European Union, a project that Mula developed at the University of Milan. This engagement reflects our university’s goal of expanding international cooperation and strengthening research capacities through advanced technologies.

The NanoBalkan 2024 conference was organized by the Phantoms Foundation in Spain and the NanoAlb Research Center, with the support of the Academy of Sciences of Albania. Co-chair of the conference was Academician Arben Merkoçi, member of the Academy of Sciences of Albania, head of NanoAlb, and ICREA Professor at the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Barcelona.
