On 04.11.2024, Minister Arbërie Nagavci together with the Director of the Peace Corps Carolyne Siganda visited the “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova, where they were received by Rector Bunjaku together with the vice-rectors and the director of the QDPM - Didactic Center for Excellence in Teaching. Initially, Rector Bunjaku welcomed Minister Nagavci and Director Carolyne Siganda to the “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova.

The discussions continued by closely informing about the commitment of the management, the goals, requirements and opportunities for further professional development for teachers at UFAGJ. At the same time, the possibilities of technical assistance and expertise in the field of Education that MESTI can offer in coordination with the Peace Corps in Kosovo for the QDPM - Didactic Center for Excellence in Teaching were discussed. In this way, mechanisms will be created that, through professional training, can be transmitted to new teachers and current teachers of pre-university education for the Gjakova region and surrounding municipalities.

The visit was highly appreciated by the management of UFAGJ for the many opportunities that this new cooperation could bring.
