On 09.10.2024, the Governing Council of “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova was constituted. Under the leadership of Prof. Ass. Dr. Venera Vala Këndusi, the members voted for the re-election of Majlinda Haxhikadria as Chairperson of the Council, while Ilir Bytyqi was elected Deputy Chairperson.

The Governing Council, with a three-year mandate, also includes the following members:

All members pledged to respect the University Statute and the Law on Higher Education, and to work with maximum dedication and responsibility.

On 18.10.2024, the next meeting of the Governing Council was held, during which a number of agenda items and requests were reviewed and discussed.

During this meeting, Prof. Ass. Dr. Kaltrina Kusari was appointed as Vice-Rector for Academic Development and Quality Assurance.

The Council also approved the decisions of the Scientific Council regarding incentives for academic staff for scientific publications indexed in WoS and Scopus.

It is also worth noting that during this meeting, a decision was made on the amount of student scholarships for the academic year 2024/25, as well as the announcement of the scholarship call for applications.
