Cooperation Agreement signed between 'Fehmi Agani' University in Gjakova and the University of Northern IOWA in the USA

With the aim of strengthening international cooperation, the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova today signed a Cooperation Agreement with the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, USA.
On behalf of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, the Cooperation Agreement was signed by the Rector of UFAGJ, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, and the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi. On behalf of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, USA, the agreement was signed by Professor William Henninger IV, PhD, who is also Head of the Department of Family, Aging and Counseling.
This agreement carries significant importance for the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, especially for the Faculty of Social Sciences, as it foresees plans for joint projects involving students and academic staff, as well as the promotion of Transfer Programs (3+1) for Social Sciences students interested in obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Iowa, USA.
The Cooperation Agreement is the first agreement of this kind signed between the university and a university in the United States, placing the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova among international universities that provide opportunities and facilitate student and academic staff mobility at a new level.
