Prof. Assoc. Dr. Laura Naka participated as a teaching staff in the COMMO VII – ERASMUS + KA171 mobility program, at the University of Salento in Lecce, Italy.

During the period 15-19 April, Prof. Laura Naka presented lectures focusing on the importance of English as a foreign language and its role in the continuous education of students and teaching strategies that help improve students’ English language learning. The lectures were held in the presence of students and academic staff Prof. Monica Genesin, professor of Albanian Studies and coordinator for Internationalization in the Department of Humanities; Paola Leone, professor of foreign language teaching; Pietro Iaia, professor of English and coordinator for orientation in the Department of Humanities and Thomas Christiansen, professor of English.

The lectures titled: Language Code Switching of Teachers and Students from L1 to L2 and Vice Versa in English Language Class, Differentiated Instruction: "Does One Size Fits All" and Portfolio as a Tool That Promotes Learning, aroused interest and sparked debate among the present students.

Of particular importance was also the visit to the library and the Archaeological Museum at the Studium 2000 Center. This location also houses the headquarters of the Humanities departments of the University of Salento. During her stay, Prof. Laura Naka also met colleagues from the Department of Cultural Heritage: Flavia Frisone, professor of Ancient Greek History, Rita Auriemma and Milena Primavera, professors of Archaeology in this department.
