Mobility of a Doctoral Student at ‘Fehmi Agani’ University in Gjakova
As part of mobility projects aimed at strengthening networking and the internationalization of the “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova and its partner universities, the Faculty of Social Sciences hosted Ms. Mirlinda Vejseli, a regular doctoral student at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Tetova.
Ms. Vejseli, a doctoral candidate in Sociology with a socio-cultural specialization, completed a one-week study visit at UFAGJ. The mobility was carried out within the framework of the criteria and regulations for enrolment in the third cycle of studies at the University of Tetova.
During her presentation to students, Ms. Vejseli engaged in discussions with students of the Faculty of Social Sciences on the traditional and cultural aspects of Albanian family relations, recent social changes and developments, the phenomenology of violence, its causes and consequences, as well as other important issues.
Through this mobility, students were exposed to new perspectives, gained specialized knowledge, and deepened their understanding of complex topics. Furthermore, networking opportunities emerged, allowing students to establish connections with the visiting researcher for potential research collaborations. This academic and cultural exchange enriched the academic experience of UFAGJ students and fostered greater cultural awareness within our university community.
This mobility was made possible through inter-institutional cooperation with the University of Tetova, with which UFAGJ has a cooperation agreement.
