On 14 December 2023, an informational session on projects and scholarships organized by the Erasmus+ Office Kosovo was held at the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, attended by staff members and students.

Initially, Ms. Mimika Dobroshi and Ms. Blerina Zijaqa, representatives of the Erasmus+ program in Kosovo, were welcomed at the Rectorate by Rector Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, together with the two Vice Rectors, Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi and Prof. Ass. Dr. Arben Boshnjaku.

During the session, the Erasmus+ officials in Kosovo announced that the application call was currently open. They also presented the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ 2024 program call for higher education institutions. This call includes:

Erasmus+ KA1: Short-term exchanges for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) (ICM); degree mobility programs (Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters & Design Measures).

Erasmus+ KA2: Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE); Jean Monnet; Virtual Exchanges in Higher Education; Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) – European Universities Alliances.

The purpose of this activity was to share information regarding the rules and application procedures for the Erasmus+ Program.

The Erasmus+ Program provides support in the fields of education, training, youth, and sports.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a question-and-answer session was organized, during which additional information about the Erasmus+ Program was also shared.
