On 07.12.2023, an informative lecture was held at the “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova by the Ombudsman Mr. Naim Qelaj and the Ombudsman for Gjakova Mr. Mark Kaqinari.

Initially, the rector Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, together with the two vice-rectors Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi and Prof. Ass. Dr. Arben Boshnjaku, received the ombudsmen in a meeting, on which occasion they welcomed them to UFAGJ and at the same time informed them about the programs, progress, commitments and challenges.

Then, the rector Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku gave a speech before the lecture, on which occasion, on behalf of the University management, he thanked the ombudsmen for their willingness to organize the informative lecture.

The lecture aimed to deepen knowledge on the role and function of the Ombudsman in protecting citizens’ rights. The topics covered included the areas of responsibility of the Ombudsman, carefully analyzing the use of the services provided by this office.

Also, a broad review was made regarding the types of issues and complaints that can be handled by the Ombudsman.

The Ombudsman presented a detailed description of the process of handling a complaint, addressing the steps and procedures that are followed during this process. This informative meeting was an important step towards raising awareness and building a society where the rights and interests of every citizen are treated with seriousness and respect.
