On Monday, 23 October 2023, the Rector of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, together with the University Secretary General Linda Dula-Halilabazi, met with the Mayor of Gjakova, Mr. Ardian Gjini, and the Director of the Municipal Directorate of Education (DKA), Ms. Eranda Baçi.

Mayor Gjini opened the meeting by first congratulating Rector Bunjaku on his new position. Rector Bunjaku then provided information on the institutional accreditation process and the accreditation of study programs that the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova is currently undergoing. He also highlighted the strengths and challenges ahead, particularly the lack of physical space for reaccreditation and accreditation processes, which is a consequence of the absence of a university campus.

Among other topics, opportunities for cooperation were discussed, with Mayor Gjini expressing strong willingness to support processes that will further strengthen the University “Fehmi Agani”.

Additionally, possibilities for cooperation between the Municipal Directorate of Education (DKA) and the University were discussed, particularly through training programs offered by the Didactic Center for Excellence in Teaching.
