The Rector of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, held a meeting with the Director of the Regional Hospital in Gjakova, Mr. Ph. Hilmi Shala.

Director Shala first congratulated the Rector on his new position. Rector Bunjaku thanked him for the continued support provided to the University “Fehmi Agani”, which has enabled the implementation of practical training for students of the Faculty of Medicine and ongoing employment opportunities for graduates.

Both parties committed to further strengthening cooperation between the two institutions in order to jointly provide the best possible opportunities for students.

During the meeting, it was also discussed that the University “Fehmi Agani” is currently undergoing the process of institutional and program accreditation, and that both academic and administrative staff are working at full capacity to meet accreditation requirements. It was further emphasized that aligning curricula with labor market demands is essential so that students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to remain competitive with graduates from Western universities.

A visit to the Regional Hospital “Isa Grezda” was planned for the following week.
