Acting Rector of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Zeqir Hashani, together with vice-rectors and the Secretary General of UFAGJ, Ms. Linda Dula-Halilabazi, hosted a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Ali Tafarshiku.

The purpose of the meeting focused on cooperation regarding the organization of the “Regional Economic Forum”, which will present investment opportunities at the municipal level, cooperation between regional municipalities and local businesses for the development of tourism and cultural potential, infrastructure investments, and strategic frameworks for regional economic development in Kosovo. This is considered an important step in efforts to stimulate the economy and elevate the level of promotion and development of the community in the municipality of Gjakova.

In this regard, the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova can contribute by providing expertise on tourism promotion and economic development potential in the municipality of Gjakova. The forum is also expected to serve as an important platform for discussing strategies and future cooperation in tourism and economic development, including the development of master plans that would guide sustainable development in the Dukagjini region.

Acting Rector Hashani, on behalf of the UFAGJ management, thanked Deputy Minister Tafarshiku for the initiative and confirmed the institution’s full support for the realization of this forum.
