On 22 September 2023, the management of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, consisting of Acting Vice-Rector for Academic Development and Quality Enhancement Prof. Ass. Dr. Gentiana Muhaxhiri, Acting Vice-Rector for Research and Scientific Development Prof. Ass. Dr. Elsa Vula, and the Secretary General of UFAGJ Ms. Linda Dula-Halilabazi, hosted a meeting with Prof. Romeu Gurakuqi, together with the reviewer of his book “Shqipëria dhe tokat e lirueme,” Jusuf Buxhovi, and collaborators.

The discussion focused on the themes of the book, which examines the historical turning points of the Albanian world during the years 1939–1945, a period in which the fascist war reshaped previous realities and brought significant changes to Albanian life, including the rise of communism and its influence on political and state developments in the Albanian world.

On behalf of UFAGJ, Acting Vice-Rector Muhaxhiri thanked Mr. Gurakuqi and the organizer of the meeting, Mr. Buxhovi, for the visit and wished success in the promotion of the book in Gjakova.

She also expressed gratitude to Professor Gurakuqi for choosing Gjakova as the venue for the promotion of this extensive work, which carries significant cultural and historical value.
