The management of the “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova welcomes representatives from “Kosovo United States Alumni” - KUSA to a meeting
On 20.09.2023, the management of “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova, consisting of the Chairperson of the University Governing Council, Ms. Majlinda Haxhikadrija-Ramadani, Acting Vice-Rector for Academic Development and Quality Enhancement, Prof. Ass. Dr. Gentiana Muhaxhiri, and Acting Vice-Rector for Research and Scientific Inquiry, Prof. Ass. Dr. Elsa Vula, held a working meeting with a delegation from the “Kosovo United States Alumni” (KUSA), based in Prishtina, represented by Mr. Fisnik Ahmeti and Ms. Greta Imeri.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the University Grants Support Program funded by the Embassy of the United States of America in Prishtina for the 2023/2024 season. KUSA representatives presented the application opportunities and procedures for these grants, informing the UFAGj management about the criteria and required documentation.
The KUSA program aims to support higher education institutions in the Republic of Kosovo through development grants, with the goal of improving academic quality and strengthening institutional capacities. During the meeting, the current needs of the university and potential projects that could have a positive impact on the further development of higher education were also discussed.
The meeting took place in a cooperative atmosphere, where both parties exchanged important information regarding the grant and opportunities for applying with projects of institutional and academic value.
