Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Projects of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi, held a meeting with the representative of the Francophone University Association, Mr. Avni Krasniqi, National Coordinator for AUF, and Mr. Shemsi Krasniqi, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kosovo to the Francophonie.

During the meeting, discussions focused on cooperation activities promoted by the Francophone University Association in relation to the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova. Within this framework, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora is also involved, having established an inter-institutional working group aimed at advancing Kosovo’s status within the Francophonie.

The AUF representatives expressed strong interest in learning more about the cooperation activities of the University “Fehmi Agani” and the potential for future collaboration in several areas, including:

the engagement of UFAGJ as an AUF member and its implemented activities;

future inclusion of UFAGJ in agreements with universities from Francophone countries;

participation in exchange programs with Francophone universities;

publication of scientific articles in French in UFAGJ academic journals;

and other related initiatives.

On behalf of UFAGJ, Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Projects, Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi, thanked the representatives of the Francophone University Association and emphasized that the University remains open to future cooperation and joint activities, expressing hope for full support from the Francophone University Association.
