Today, economic expert Safet Gërxhaliu was welcomed to a meeting where the cooperation and the need for deeper collaboration between public higher education institutions and employment agencies and offices were highly appreciated.

This meeting was made possible by the German Information Centre for Migration, Vocational Training and Career (DIMAK) and German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH as part of their cooperation to strengthen and develop the Career Offices of public universities.

Mr. Gërxhaliu was welcomed by the Career Development Officer, Ms. Freskina Mula Ermeni, and the Professional Internship Coordinator, Ms. Mentore Zejnullahu.

As an economic expert, Mr. Safet Gërxhaliu became closely acquainted with the work of the Career Office of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova and promoted the services of the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo (APRK). These services will also be promoted and discussed with important stakeholders such as chambers and relevant associations in Kosovo.

Furthermore, from his perspective, Mr. Gërxhaliu provided recommendations for the further development of this office and for making it as supportive as possible for the careers of our students. These valuable assessments and recommendations for the office will be submitted in a final report.

Mr. Gërxhaliu also expressed his interest in meeting with our students through an interactive lecture in order to share his experiences in the field of economics and present the role of the Career Development Office within the University.
