Acting Rector Zeqir Hashani and his colleagues welcome the delegation from the University of IOWA to visit
The Acting Rector of University “Fehmi Agani”, Prof. Ass. Dr. Zeqir Hashani, together with the university management, welcomed representatives from University of Iowa in a meeting held at the university. During the meeting, the cooperation offered by University of Iowa to our university was warmly welcomed, particularly regarding the implementation of staff and student mobility programs, as well as joint programs between the two universities. Based on previous experience, the University of Iowa has consistently fulfilled its collaborations, and we expect these initiatives to materialize further in the future.
At this meeting, University “Fehmi Agani” was represented by the Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Projects, Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekçi; the Vice Rector for Research and Scientific Studies, Prof. Ass. Dr. Elsa Vula; the Vice Rector for Budget, Finance, and Infrastructure, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi; Prof. Ass. Dr. Shefqet Mulliqi, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences; and Denis Spahija, Head of the Office for External Relations.
Meanwhile, the delegation from University of Iowa included Mark Nook, President of the university; Mathew Wilson, Professor of Marketing; William Henninier, Director of the Faculty of Applied Sciences; Scott Peters from the Faculty of Applied Sciences; and Kristi Marchesoni, Head of Recruitment and Admissions.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss student exchange, exchange of academic staff, researchers and other experts, exploration of joint research projects, joint conferences and seminars, cultural exchange programs, and other forms of cooperation.
