With the presence of Acting Rector Zeqir Hashani and Secretary General Linda Dula-Halilabazi, “Fehmi Agani” University held the constitutive meeting for the establishment of the new Senate, composed of newly elected members from the general elections at UFAGj.

The agenda of the meeting included the following points:

Report of the Secretary General regarding the electoral process and the results of the 2023 elections;

Constitution of the UFAGj Senate;

Verification of Senate members’ mandates;

Signing of the Ethical Declaration;

Election of the Interim Chairperson of the Senate;

Election of Deans.

The composition of the Senate in the constitutive meeting was as follows:

All members of the new Senate signed the Ethical Declaration and subsequently unanimously elected Prof. Asoc. Dr. Artan Nimani as Interim Chairperson of the Senate.

Acting Rector Hashani thanked all participants for a fair and professional process and invited Prof. Nimani to preside over the meeting as Chairperson.

Prof. Nimani invited members to vote by secret ballot for the election of deans, who had received the highest number of votes in the general elections at UFAGj.

After verification and vote counting by the Secretary General, the results were announced as follows:

Dean of the Faculty of Education – Prof. Asoc. Dr. Ilmi Hoxha

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine – Prof. Asoc. Dr. Haxhi Kamberi

Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences – Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi

At the end, the Interim Chairperson of the Senate, Prof. Nimani, thanked all members and wished them success in their joint work.

The Secretary General of UFAGj, Ms. Dula-Halilabazi, emphasized that during and after the general election process at UFAGj there were no complaints of any kind, and that everything was conducted in accordance with the criteria and the Statute of “Fehmi Agani” University.
