The SOCRE (Erasmus+) tutors visit at the University of Gjakova


From 03.04.2018-06.04.2018 hosted by the University of Gjakova “Fehmi Agani” and Heimerer College was organized a study circle with tutoring visit from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Finland and ESSA, Portugal aiming the monitoring of pilot Continuous Professional Development course on EQF level 6 entitled “Social Rehabilitation in Geriatry” at the UGJFA and CPD course on EQF (European Qualification Framework) level 5 and 7 at the Heimerer College. 

A Kosovo study circle meeting was organized on the first day where the progress of CPD course development together with the planning of student’s handbook on Social Rehabilitation were discussed. Besides the two higher institutions involved in this course, representatives from Ministry of Education, Science and Technology took part as well.  
The second and the third days were planned for the close monitoring of Heimerer College’s progression with their CPD courses. 

On Friday 6th, tutors visited UGJFA. The first part of the day, at the Faculty of Medicine they took part in a lecture of CPD course level 6 where they monitored the monitored the implementation of piloting. While, for the closing session, discussions and future suggestions, tutors from Finland and Portugal were hosted by Rector of UGJFA, Prof. Dr. Shaban Buza. 

Tutors that visited UGJFA and Heimerer college were Eija Raatikainen from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Finland and Maria Rosado from  Escola Superior de Saúde Do Alcotião, Portugal.
