As part of the program accreditation process, on Wednesday, virtual meetings were held with international experts for the new programs of the Faculty of Medicine at the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova (UFAGJ).

At the Faculty of Medicine, the Public Health (BSc) and Health Management (MA) programs, for which it is applied in the accreditation process, will be subject to the accreditation process.

The group of international experts for the Faculty of Medicine, consisting of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Patsch, Prof. Dr. Danica Zeleznik and Ms. Delia Gologan, held virtual meetings for this process with organized groups. The first meeting with international experts was held by the management, and then meetings were held with quality managers, program providers, academic staff and employers of graduates.

Quality Assurance Officer, Mr. Daut Islami, said that the meetings with experts went very well, and praised the organization made for this process by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA).

Mr. Islami emphasized that in UFAGJ there has been an extraordinary mobilization regarding the process of accreditation of programs for which he thanked all those who have been engaged.

The accreditation process includes internal and external quality assurance, which continues to be the main tool for setting quality standards in the higher education system in Kosovo.
