Training on "Capacity building of nurses within the expanded immunization program" is held
Today, on March 25, 2021, a virtual training was held on the topic: "Professional capacity building for nurses within the expanded immunization program", organized by the Bethany Christian Services.
This training was attended by: students, graduates and nurses, led by Dr. Edita Goranci Haxhiu, Head of Immunization from NIPHK and trainers from the Center for Human Services and Development.
During the training were discussed topics such as: extended immunization program, immunization involvement of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities, post-vaccination side effects, cold chain, MMR vaccination campaign, measures taken during the COVID pandemic 19 and limiting the risk of transmitting SARS COV-2 during vaccination. Dr. Edita Goranci Haxhiu also spoke about the history of viruses in Kosovo, the regular vaccination calendar, rapid immunization and vaccination against COVID -19.
From "Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova participated: Denis Spahija (Head of Foreign Relations Office), Freskina Mula (Career Development Officer), Rolanda Mula (Project Management Consultant) and Arnisa Jaka (representative of NGO ALUMNI ), students and graduates of the Faculty of Medicine of the Nursing Program.
This training is accredited by the Kosovo Chamber of Nurses (KIC).
