Rector of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Artan Nimani, remembers the Battle of Gllogjan - the Dukagjini Epopee, as well as the NATO bombing:

"With deep honors and gratitude we remember all the martyrs on the 22nd anniversary of the Battle of Dukagjini. March 24th is a reminder of the KLA's determination and the launch of airstrikes on Serbia, on Kosovo's freedom, independence and democracy.

The Dukagjini epic marks a turning point in the struggle for freedom, which has been one of the key historical moments of the Albanian people of Kosovo. Its greatness is also with the NATO bombings. We remember the Dukagjini fighters throughout Kosovo who are the foundation of freedom. The bravery of the Haradinajs and other KLA fighters made freedom possible. On March 24, 1999, the intervention of the forces of the North Atlantic Alliance - NATO, against the Serbian armed forces began, which was fortunate for Kosovo and marked the return of hope for all of us.

Thanks to the US and NATO allies, on the 22nd anniversary of the beginning of the bombing of Serbian targets.
