At the meeting of the Senate on June 28, 2024, "Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova held elections for the members of the new Governing Council from within the University, among other agenda items.

Following proposals, voting, and the announcement of results, the elected members of the Governing Council from the University are:

 1. Prof. Ass. Dr. Venera Vala Këndusi

2. Ass. Rilind Obërtinca

3. Prof. Ass. Dr. Gentiana Muhaxhiri

4. Prof. Asoc. Dr. Zeqir Hashani

 According to the Statute of UFAGj, the Governing Council consists of 7 members, 4 of whom are elected by the Senate and 3 appointed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MASHTI).

The term of office for the members of the Governing Council is three years and will commence on October 1, 2024.
