On Monday, 06 November 2023, the Rector of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, together with Vice Rector Prof. Ass. Dr. Arben Boshnjaku and the University Secretary Ms. Linda Dula Halilabazi, hosted visiting professors from the Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University of Sofia.

The visiting delegation included Prof. Petya Kantareva, Prof. Tanya Veselinova, and Erasmus+ Coordinator for UMS, Simeon Manolov, who, within the Erasmus+ academic mobility project, delivered lectures at the Faculty of Medicine of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova for five consecutive days.

It is also worth noting that academic staff and students from UFAGJ are expected to visit the Medical University of Sofia at the beginning of 2024.

Among other topics, the meeting also discussed opportunities for further strengthening cooperation between the two universities within the framework of European Union grant programs.
