On Monday, on the 12th of July, 2021, the rector of the University "Fehmi Agami" in Gjakova, prof. ass. dr. Artan Nimani, accompanied by his associates, received in a meeting the member of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, at the same time chairwoman of the Commission for Human Rights in the Parliament of Kosovo, Mrs. Duda Balje and Deputy. The Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Almir Veliji, who come from the ranks of the Bosniak community.

During the meeting, Rector Nimani informed them about the achievements and progress of the strategic plan processes in fulfilling the mission and vision of the university, about the study opportunities for young people from the communities, about the special quotas for enrollment in UFAGJ study programs for Bosniak community and the entrance exam test at the Faculty of Medicine, organized in the Bosnian language. Rector Nimani promised continued commitment to community students, who have requests and ideas for projects, mobility abroad, as well as strengthening their role in decision-making.

Duda Balje and Deputy Minister Aliji thanked Rector Nimani for the reception and congratulated him on the achievements with the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova. Representatives of the Bosniak community expressed satisfaction with the support and demanded that community students continue to increase student enthusiasm and strengthen their role in society.

The parties in the meeting agreed to deepen cooperation in the future on concrete issues for the Bosniak community.
