Rector of the University of Gjakova Prof. Ass. Dr. Artan Nimani accompanied by Prof. Ass. Dr. Vjollca Dibra (Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality Enhancement) and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Haxhi Kamberi (Vice Rector for Budget, Finance and Infrastructure )today on October 8, 2020 welcomed in a meeting the leader of the HERAS Plus program, Mr. Aqim Emurli who was accompanied by collaborators Nehat Dervishi and Donjeta Ibraj.
Mr. Aqim Emurli, presented the project focusing on the support and key development activities that can benefit all public institutions of higher education (HEIs), including the benefits that UGJFA can have.Both parties agreed to meet regularly in order to increase mutual cooperation and productivity.
Rector Nimani and UGJFA staff welcomed the project team and expressed their readiness and full commitment to have a successful cooperation during the implementation of the project. He informed the project representatives about the vision and development strategy and noted that this would require the support of experts and project initiatives.
HERAS Plus is funded by the Austrian Development Agency and co-financed by the MES, and implemented by the consortium WUS Austria, ZSI and OeAD.
