Bridges of Knowledge: U.S. Embassy and UFAGj Connect Through Fulbright and Beyond

The University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova recently welcomed Kelsey De Rinaldis, Deputy Public Affairs Officer, and Ms. Remzije Potoku, Higher Education Specialist  at the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo. The visit focused on U.S. Fulbright Student David Chmielewski, who is currently undertaking his Fulbright scholarship as an English Teaching Assistant (ETA) at the Faculty of Philology, Department of English Language: Translation and Interpretation.

The U.S. Embassy delegation was hosted by Nazli Tyfekçi, Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Projects at UFAGj, who also serves as the supervisor for Fulbright student Mr. Chmielewski. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss Mr. Chmielewski's activities at the University and his contributions to the academic community. Discussions also centered on future collaborations between UFAGj and the U. S.  Embassy, exploring potential avenues for partnership in education and cultural exchange.

"This visit highlights the importance of the Fulbright program and its contribution to fostering mutual understanding and academic exchange. We are pleased to host Mr. Chmielewski and value the opportunity to discuss future collaborations with the U.S. Embassy."

The visit highlighted the University's commitment to international partnerships and its support for the Fulbright program. UFAGj looks forward to continued collaboration with the U.S. Embassy to further enrich the academic experience for both students and faculty.
