In the Faculty of Medicine of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, within the framework of mobility, a visit was made by the representatives of the Faculty of Public Health, of the University of Medicine in Sofia, through the Erasmus project KA171. The delegation consisted of Dean Prof. Dr. A. Vodenicharova, Vice Dean Prof. Dr. G. Chaneva, Prof. Dr. Antoniya Yanakieva and Prof. E. Petrova - Geretto.

During the visit, experts held lectures in the field of medicine, including topics such as “Intercultural Communication and Cultural Humility in Health Care” and “Improving Health Levels to Reduce Inequality in Health Care”.

This collaboration aims to strengthen academic capacities and promote comprehensive health care. During this mobility, the delegation from the Faculty of Public Health was received by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Haxhi Kamberi, Vice Dean Prof. Assoc. Dr. Kimete Canaj, Vice Dean Prof. Asst. Dr. Hasime Terziqi and Vice-Rector Prof. Asst. Dr. Arben Boshnjaku. Their interest was especially in the practice of students, in which case a visit was made to the regional hospital “Isa Grezda” with the help of Ass. Muhamet Kadrija (PhD Can). During the meetings, future projects and possibilities for new applications were discussed within the framework of the cooperation between the two faculties.

This mobility aims to strengthen inter-academic ties and develop joint projects in the field of public health and nursing, as well as academic exchange of staff and students.
