The Workshop for Training Trainers for the UPSHIFT and PODIUM was held

YMCA, in collaboration with UNICEF in Kosovo and the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, has conducted a workshop to train new trainers in the UPSHIFT and PODIUM methodologies. UFAGJ students participated in this initiative, whose aim is to enable them to support young people in developing ideas and providing them with the opportunity to win a grant of €1,000.

In addition to the benefit of the grant, students who choose to be part of the UPSHIFT and PODIUM programs also benefit in terms of socialization, learn how to write a project, learn how to create a budget line, and how to apply for larger grants.

Participating students were satisfied with the progress of the workshop and with the knowledge gained.  UPSHIFT is a social program for young people aged 14-18 that equips them with essential skills such as problem solving, creativity, collaboration, leadership and communication. Meanwhile, PODIUM is a social advocacy workshop that teaches young people and teenagers in Kosovo how to protect the needs and rights of their community.
