Rector Nimani with colleagues are participating in the STAND project workshop at the University of Zagreb in Croatia
From July 14-17, the rector, Prof. Ass. Dr. Artan Nimani, accompanied by prof. ass. dr. Laura Naka and Mr. Denis Spahija will participate in the STAND project workshop which is being held at the University of Zagreb, Croatia.
The University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova is a partner of the STAND project, which is about "Raising the autonomy of universities and increasing responsibility and transparency in the universities of the Balkan countries".
The basic topic that was addressed on the first day of the training is "Analysis of finance practices at partner universities".
Meanwhile, other topics that were addressed on the first day of the workshop are:
Introducing financial autonomy at the University of Southeast Europe;
The current state of the assessment of the autonomy of the University of Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro;
An overview regarding the third party financing unit (in structures, tasks, responsibilities, collaborations);
The structure and overview of national and international funding.
The University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, through trainings and workshops, is focused on academic advancement and increasing administrative quality.
The STAND project is coordinated by the IBCM College in Mitrovica, and it deals with autonomy in universities, the financial aspect, the academic aspect, the academic and administrative personnel as well as other important aspects for universities.
