At the invitation of the Rector of the University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi”, Prof. Dr. Suzana Golemi, the Acting Rector of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, Zeqir Hashani, together with collaborators, participated in the proceedings of the 5th International Scientific Conference on the theme: “Achievements and Challenges of the Social Work Profession”.

The conference aimed to explore, develop, and promote various approaches to academic and scientific research, and to build bridges of cooperation among social work professionals in Albania, Europe, and beyond.

Within the framework of this conference, Acting Rector Hashani also held meetings with rectors, vice-rectors, deans, professors, and representatives of the Universities of Shkodra, Elbasan, and Tirana, with the aim of intensifying cooperation, social mobility, organization, and joint partnerships for future projects.

This conference was organized by the Department of Psychology and Social Work – University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi”, in cooperation with the Department of Social Work and Social Policy – University of Tirana, and the Department of Social Sciences and Civic Education – University “Aleksandër Xhuvani” Elbasan, in partnership with the National Association of Social Workers of Albania and the Regulatory Body of Social Workers in the Republic of Albania.
