Fehmi Agani University in Gjakova (UFAGJ) and the Organization for Increasing the Quality of Education (ORCA) will cooperate in areas of mutual interest. For this purpose, on Monday, the rector of UFAGJ, Prof. Ass. Dr. Artan Nimani, Executive Director of ORCA, Mr. Rron Gjinovci, and project manager Mr. Drilon Krasniqi signed a Cooperation Agreement for the implementation of the project Quality, Accountability, Integrity and Transparency in Higher Education - QAINT with financial assistance Austrian Development (ADA), implemented by the KEC consortium, ORCA.

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide support to the UFAG to meet the needs for academic integrity, accountability, and transparency through close monitoring of the academic promotion process.

Implementation of this agreement will provide the relevant academic units of the UFAG and the Senate with a professional report on the performance of the candidates only in relation to scientific papers published in accordance with the Law on Higher Education, the Statute of the UFAG and the regulations of other in force.

Rector Nimani, thanked ORCA and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) for the visit and the willingness to cooperate for the benefit of increasing the quality and public confidence in the processes of academic advancement, which will become a prime example for universities other public in the Republic of Kosovo.
