The Conference of Rectors of Public Universities of the Republic of Kosovo in the meeting held on 12th of February 2021 discussed the progress of the new process / accreditation of higher education institutions in Kosovo and study programs.

The Conference of Rectors expresses its concern about the situation created in the CSC after the resignations of two local members, assessing that these resignations in this situation undermine the re-accreditation process and the process of returning the Kosovo Accreditation Agency to ENQA and EQAR.

The Conference of Rectors encourages the CSC and the Executive Director of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency as soon as possible and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science to find the right solution as soon as possible to get out of the situation of blockage of the CSC- of. The Conference of Rectors is ready to provide all necessary support for the consolidation and resumption of the work of the CSC and the return to ENQA and EQUAR.
