The call for applications for mobility grants aimed at mobility in Italian universities of the COMMO VII - ERASMUS + KA171 consortium (Project no. 2022-1-IT02-KA171-HED-000077240) is open

We inform you that the third call for mobility grants aimed at mobility in Italian and partner country universities is now open. European Program COMMO VII - ERASMUS + KA171 (Project no. 2022-1-IT02-KA171-HED-000077240).

For the academic year 2024/2025, the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova as part of the COMMO consortium, coordinated by UNIMED - Union of Mediterranean Universities, the Erasmus+ program offers the opportunity to carry out mobility exchanges with Italian member universities that have expressed their interest in participating in the activities for the seventh edition of this project.

PURPOSE

As part of the COMMO consortium, coordinated by UNIMED-The Mediterranean Universities Erasmus+ Program offers the Italian member universities the opportunity to make mobility exchanges with the Regional universities 1 (Kosovo and Albania), and Regional Universities 3 (Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Syria) which have expressed their interest to participate in the activities of the seventh edition of the project.

You are invited to apply in the Italian Universities of UNIMED part of the COMMO consortium, where UFAGJ benefits:

FUNDING

Mobilities with teaching and training purposes may be developed during the first or the second semester of the academic year 2025/2026, according to the calendar of the hosting University and Country University. Therefore, we recommend you to start immediately, after you have received the selection confirmation.

-Regarding incoming mobility (from partner countries to Italy), the amount of the scholarship provided as individual support is 160 euros per day. The duration of the movement is 5 days plus 2 travel days (A/R),

-Regarding incoming mobility (from partner countries to Italy), the amount of the scholarship provided as individual support is 850 euros per month. The mobility period foreseen by the project is between 2 months’ min, and 5 months max.

In addition to individual support, the project covers travel expenses calculated based on the distance between the place of departure where the home university is located and the destination country where the host university is established, in accordance with the distance calculator provided by the Erasmus+ Programme.

CONDITIONS AND PROCEDURES

  • Staff and student candidates at the time of application will be on regular duty and will be registered at one of the participating universities.
  • After selection by the sending university, applicants will be contacted by UNIMED, and the host university for further information.
  • The application period will be until February 24, 2025.

DOCUMENTS

Documents for the submission of the application will be sent in the referring address shown for the mobility for which you want to apply in a specific PDF file and according to this order:

  • Copy of passport (valid for travel and valid for at least 3 months from the date of return from mobility);
  • Certificate or self-certification proving knowledge of English and/or Italian depending on the language of the destination country (minimum level B2);
  • Curriculum Vitae (maximum 4 pages);
  • Application form for each type of mobility (Staff - STT; Teachers - STA)
  • Application form for each type of mobility (Students - SMS)

Average grade of exams and credits earned (only for students);

The documentation must specify the type of mobility (Staff - STT; Teaching Assistants - STA or SMS - student), the sending university and the receiving university where you are applying for mobility.

 

 

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

The process of selection will be straightforward and transparent, and based on the principles of non-discrimination. Selection in regards to the mobility for training purposes (STT) will respect the following criteria:

  • English language skills (50 points)
  • Previous work experience abroad and/or in the area (50 points);

Selection regarding mobility for learning purposes (STA) will respect the following criteria:

  • Knowledge of English (50 points);
  • Publications and any previous research/teaching experience abroad and/or in the area (50 points);

The selected candidate will be contacted to determine the necessary documentation to be developed within the program and will receive the necessary information on mobility.

The beneficiary undertakes to:

  • Respect the deadlines set by the universities and UNIMED;
  • Prepare the required documentation within the deadlines indicated before, during and after the mobility;
  • Carry out the activities assigned during the mobility period.
  • Complete the mobility period;
  • Contact the institutions (embassies and consulates for any visa application);
  • Have a passport valid for at least 3 months after return;

The beneficiary also has the right to:

  • Receive adequate information and support before, during and after the move;
  • Receive the amount of the mobility grant according to the indicated schedules;
  • Have a tutor during the period abroad;
