UFAGJ and KRU-Gjakova Sign Cooperation Agreement for Technological Solutions Development under the Informatics Engineering Program

On November 15, 2024, the “Fehmi Agani” University (UFAGJ) in Gjakova signed a cooperation agreement with the Regional Water Supply Company (KRU-Gjakova), marking the beginning of a new chapter in the development of both academic and practical skills for students.

The agreement underscores the importance of the new Informatics Engineering program within UFAGJ's Faculty of Applied Sciences, designed to address the growing demand for specialists in the water supply sector and beyond.

Both institutions have agreed that this collaboration will help meet the increasing need for qualified professionals in the water sector. KRU-Gjakova’s leader, Mr. Hasan Krasniqi, emphasized the significance of this academic profile in the job market, noting that the partnership will not only equip students with valuable skills but also contribute to the technological advancement of the company's operations.

UFAGJ Rector, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, expressed that the partnership reflects the university’s commitment to preparing students for the workforce.
