Call for applications aimed at mobility in Italian universities of the COMMO VII - ERASMUS + KA171 consortium (Project no. 2022-1-IT02-KA171-HED-000077240)
We inform you that the call for mobility grants aimed at Italian universities and those of partner countries European Program COMMO VII - ERASMUS + KA171 has been opened (Project no. 2022-1-IT02-KA171-HED-000077240).
For the academic year 2024/2025, "Fehmi Agani" Gjakovë University as part of the COMMO consortium, coordinated by UNIMED - the Union of Mediterranean Universities, the Erasmus+ program offers the opportunity to carry out mobility exchanges with Italian member universities that have expressed interest in them to participate in the activities for the seventh edition of this project.
The Italian UNIMED universities part of the COMMO consortium that UFAG benefits from mobility exchanges are as follows:
University of Salento:
o 1 mobility for teaching or training purposes (STA/STT);
University of Teramo:
o 1 mobility for teaching or training purposes (STA/STT);
International University of Rome:
o 1 mobility for teaching or training purposes (STA/STT);
University of Siena:
o 1 mobility for teaching or training purposes (STA/STT);
Financing
The mobility for training and teaching will be carried out during the first or second semester of the academic year 2024/2025 according to the academic calendar of the host university and the home university. Regarding incoming mobility (from partner countries to Italy), the amount of the scholarship offered as individual support is 160 euros per day. The duration of the movement is 5 days plus 2 days of travel.
In addition to individual support, the project covers travel expenses calculated based on the distance between the departure country where the home university is located and the destination country where the host university is established, in accordance with the distance calculator provided by the Erasmus+ Program. For example If the distance is 100-500 km, the support is 180.00 euros, while 500-2000 km, the support is 275.00 euros (to calculate the distance, use: https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/resources-and-tools/ distance-calculator ).
TERMS AND PROCEDURES
Candidates must be in regular employment at the time of application and apply to one of the universities involved.
After selection, applicants will be contacted by UNIMED, the sending university and the host university for further information.
Requests must be sent to the relevant contact points by June 14, 2024 , otherwise they will not be considered.
Applicants will be selected until June 21, 2024 . The academic calendar of Universities generally respects the following period:
First semester: October 2024 – February 2025
Second semester: March 2025 – July 2026

DOCUMENTATION
The application submission documents will be sent to the reference address indicated for the mobility you wish to apply for in a single PDF file and in the order:
● Copy of passport (valid for travel and valid for at least 3 months from the date of return from mobility);
● Certificate or self-certification proving knowledge of English and/or Italian depending on the language of the destination country (minimum level B2);
● Curriculum Vitae (maximum 4 pages);
● Application form for any type of mobility (Staff - STT ; Teachers - STA )

The documentation must specify the type of mobility (Staff - STT; Teachers - STA), the sending university and the host university where you are applying for mobility.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The selection process will be fair and transparent and based on the principles of non-discrimination.
Selection regarding mobility for training purposes (STT) will respect the following criteria
- Knowledge of the English language (50 points);
- Previous work experience abroad and/or in the area (50 points);
Selection regarding mobility for learning purposes (STA) will respect the following criteria:
- Knowledge of the English language (50 points);
- Publications and any previous research/teaching experience abroad and/or in the area (50 points);
The selected candidate will be contacted to determine the necessary documentation to be developed within the program and will receive the necessary information on mobility.
The beneficiary undertakes to:
- To respect the deadlines set by universities and UNIMED;
- Prepare the required documentation within the indicated deadlines before, during and after the mobility;
- Carry out the assigned activities during the mobility period.
- Complete the mobility period;
- Contact the institutions (embassies and consulates for any visa application);
- You have a passport with a term of at least 3 months after return;
The beneficiary also has the right to:
- Receive adequate information and support before, during and after the move;
- Receive the amount of mobility grants according to the indicated schedules;
- Having a tutor during the period abroad;
- See period of movement abroad known.
