The academic staff of the University "Fehmi Agani" participates in the two-day workshop of the QATEK project
On November 22 and 23, 2021, the academic staff of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, consisting of prof. ass. dr. Laura Naka, prof. ass. dr. Drita Kadriu, prof. ass. dr. Melinda Mula and ass. Petrit Duraj, participated in the workshop "Towards a quality-oriented system of primary education to increase the professionalism of teachers in Kosovo-QATEK".
The leader of the QATEK project, prof. ass. dr. Blerim Saqipi opened and presented the modules of the workshop.
On the first day of the workshop, the topic of research in teacher education, research methodology in the sciences of education, the development plan of institutional and individual research, continuing with discussions on how to support one's research activity, thinking on research design, on quantitative and qualitative research paradigm, research process, methods and data collection.
The second day of the workshop started with the topic of quality criteria in qualitative and quantitative research (validity, reliability, objectivity, sensitivity), about research in action - between the teaching approach and the research method, a bridge between the research method qualitative and quantitative, and concluded with ethical standards in educational research.
The QATEK project aims to build quality assurance mechanisms in the preparation of new teachers, which is made possible by the funds of the European Union Erasmus+ program.
