The "Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova, based on the Statute regarding student transfers to all academic units, announces to interested students that from 13.09.2024 until 18.09.2024, they can submit requests for transfers from other higher education institutions to the relevant faculties of UFAGJ:

I. Students are allowed to transfer from other higher education institutions to the relevant faculties of "Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova.

II. Changing the study program is possible between different study programs in order to achieve the same level of education in accordance with the provisions of this Statute.

III. During the change of study program, a student is legally allowed to begin the new program if at least fifty percent (50%) of the exams have been successfully passed during the previous study program and are recognized in the new program.

IV. The rules for changing the study program from other higher education institutions to "Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova are the same as those for changing study programs within the University.

V. A student is allowed to register in the new study program:

1. At least in the second year of studies, or;
2. In the year of study following the previous study program.

VI. The student must submit a request for changing the study program (transfer) to the studies commission of the academic unit where they wish to continue their studies. Along with the request – the online application in the University Management System (UMS) – the following original documents must be submitted:

1. Transcript of records;
2. Certificate confirming the relevant semester for 2023/2024;
3. Certificate confirming that the study program of the other higher education institution is accredited;
4. Certificate confirming the student is registered in SMIAL;
5. Birth certificate;
6. ID card, in copy.

VII. The application deadline for transfer to UFAGJ’s academic units is from 13.09.2024 until 18.09.2024.

VIII. The Studies Commission will review the requests and recognize the exams taken during the previous study program according to the specific rules of the study program by 20.09.2024.

IX. The decision regarding the transfer will be made by the Academic Unit Council based on the proposal of the Studies Commission.

X. Complaints against the decision regarding the refusal of the transfer must be submitted to the Academic Unit Council from 23.09.2024 until 26.09.2024, by 15:00.

XI. Transfers are allowed according to the available quotas for the study program.
